astronomical-almanac software package provides astronomical almanac - calculate planet and star positions, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install astronomical-almanac
astronomical-almanac is installed in your system.
Make ensure the astronomical-almanac package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep astronomical-almanac *
You will get with astronomical-almanac package name, version, architecture and description in a table
